Multiple car accident results in injury to 1 on I-391

Most Massachusetts drivers en route to work have seen cars on the side of the road, law enforcement personnel taking statements and medical personnel assisting those injured in a car accident. Whether an accident is serious or minor, it can cause unwanted issues in a person's life. Should someone find they have been injured in a car accident they may have the option of filing a personal injury claim.

Massachusetts State Police are currently investigating a recent wreck which occurred around 6:30 a.m. The local fire department, as well as police and ambulance, responded to the five car pileup and found that one person was injured in the crash. The person suffering injuries in the car accident was taken to a local hospital for treatment. An initial report indicated the victim was not in danger of losing their life.

The police are currently investigating the cause of the five-vehicle collision. Current reports do not state that anyone has been charged criminally. While criminal charges may not be pending at this time, the person injured retains the right to file a personal injury claim should the underlying facts indicate that their injuries were caused by the negligence of another party.

Massachusetts residents injured in a car accident may incur costs and other financial damages due to the accident. Medical costs, rehabilitation costs, loss of wages and other financial burdens may accumulate rapidly. Successfully litigating a personal injury claim may allow a person to gain financial reimbursement in order to deal with the often devastating monetary repercussions of being involved in a car accident.
