Traumatic brain injuries focus of studies by NIH and NFL

Massachusetts sports fans would not be surprised to know that concussions are a major concern for athletes who play contact sports. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the NFL have teamed up to understand more about how concussions affect the brain. The research done regarding the long-term effects of concussions and the diagnosis of brain injuries could ultimately help accident victims who receive traumatic brain injuries.

Woman found in the street was victim of motor vehicle accident

The body of a lifeless woman was found lying in a street in the Massachusetts city of Revere. The 911 caller that reported the presence of the body did not know how the motor vehicle accident victim ended up in the street. The police investigation into the incident led to an MBTA bus driver.

Massachusetts car accident kills 3-year-old

A tragic event occurred involving two vehicles in a head-on collision. The car accident has resulted in the death of two people, including a three-year-old girl. The man allegedly responsible for the crash has been arrested and is being held at a Massachusetts jail facility.
